romantic sunset picnic & water blessing
4.30am Pick up,
We will rise early and watch the sun come up above the towers of Angkor Wat reflecting in the lily pond. You will create your own postcards from Cambodia! From here we will continue north and explore Preah Khan temple with beautiful carvings and many quiet, hidden corners. Passing through the North Gate of Angkor Thom with giant enigmatic faces, we will drive to Ta Som and East Mebon to finish off our morning.
Break/ Lunch at your Hotel.
Afternoon- Pick up 2.30pm
We will start the afternoon with a visit to a local temple for a traditional Cambodian Buddhist water blessing by a monk. We will then visit a local village to allow you to experience a taste of everyday Khmer life. If the weather co-operates, we will then take you to an ideal location where you can enjoy drinks and a light snack under the romantic view of a beautiful evening sunset where we’ll ride an canoe. Please advise us on your drink and snack preference.
We will provide the drink or snack of your choice; local beer, red or white wine, or your preference of soft drinks, and fresh local fruits or nuts, crisps or something of your own choosing.
