2 nights 3 days tour from SR to Battambang
Pick up at 4.30am from Hotel
We’ll travel by car to one of the ruined Buddhist Temples of Banteay Chmar north west of Siem Reap, close to the Thai border. After exploring the Banteay Chmmar temple we will drive to the vibrant city of Battambang (approximately 3 hours drive) for hotel check in and lunch.
Pick up at 2.30pm
We’ll take an afternoon drive to Phnom Sampaove (Sampaov Mountain) where, during the rule of the Khmer Rouge, massacres occurred in places such as The Killing Cave and The Theatre Cave. The mountain is topped with a beautiful Buddhist statue and gives us a perfect sunset view.
Day 2 Pick up 7.00am
We start the day at Prasat Ek Phnom, one of the main Buddhist temples in this area. Our journey takes us past the green villages along the Sangke River. After Ek Phnom, we’ll take a ride on the Bamboo train which passes by other villages and green paddy fields.Lunch/ Break/ Hotel.
Pick up 2.30pm
After lunch we’ll take a break and then drive to Phnom Banan (Banan Temple) stopping along the way to explore a local village.
Day 3 pick 8.00am
Before we return back to SR or you would like to continue your trip to PP city, We would walking to explore around Battambang city, Local Market, Khmer wooden old houses and local family making rice paper.
